"Semi" Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

I have been using this recipe for years, after first having it at a Pampered Chef party. I haven't seen the recipe in forever, but it's pretty easy to fudge, you don't really need measurements :o) If you are busy or in a hurry (or slightly too lazy to make real ones---like me) these are pretty close to the real ones!

"Semi" Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

1-2 cans of store bought refrigerated crescent rolls (1 makes about 6 rolls, 2 makes 12-ish)
cinnamon
butter
powdered sugar
milk

Directions

1. Unroll the crescent roll dough into a flat sheet on the table and spread butter/margarine over the entire surface. Preheat oven to 300-350 (depending on your oven, if it is too hot the tops will burn)

2. Sprinkle with cinnamon, then roll the dough into a long skinny pinwheel.

3. Cut the roll into disks and place them on the flat side into a greased(cooking spray) baking dish ( a pie pan, or cake pan). Put pan into the oven and cook 15 - 25 minutes.

4. For the frosting, combine approximately 1 cup powdered sugar with 3 capfulls of milk. You want the frosting to be really thick, so start with only the teeniest amount of milk then add more if you need it.

5. When the rolls are done, take them out and spoon the frosting onto the rolls. Let cool a little bit and EAT.

These are super sweet, but really yummy. Enjoy :o) We had these tonight with our dinner for breakfast and Weston at 4 all by himself!!! They are definitely a hit :o)
