Pumpkins!

I LOVE the holiday season! I LOVE to decorate my house and do all the fun themed projects and bake all the yummy treats (even though I don't eat most of them....beware friends I will be bringing teats :o) So needless to say we started decorating around here last weekend! I know it's not even October yet and sill around 90 degrees here, but I DON'T CARE! Maybe my decor will encourage the cool weather to come back!

Anyway, I found this project on a craft blog that I follow called Not So Idle Hands. It is awesome, I LOVE it :o) Here is the link to her post on this project. And here are my pictures....

Aren't they so cute?! It was really easy, I even let Weston help :o)

I liked this picture because it shows that mine are not nearly as perfect as the tutorial I posted, but it doesn't matter! When you get it all together and the lights in, it looks fabulous :o)

I just thought this was a cool picture. I love the glow and the shadows being cast on my sideboard. This definitely a cool project :o)

Another great thing is how cheap it was. I had the black paper, the mod podge, the jars and the lights. All I had to buy was tissue paper ($1 at WM) and green paint (about 60 cents at Michael's). Let me know if you have any questions.
