Punpkins in the Park

Last Saturday we took the boys to a community event here called Pumpkins in the Park. Basically they set up a "pumpkin patch", AKA a lot of pumpkins in a flagged off area with a few bales of hay for decor, and a few games, a kids concert, etc... The boys had a lot of fun hanging out with the pumpkins and listening to the concert. We didn't hang out for too long because at 2 and a half Weston can really only enjoy so much.

Anyway, no rhyme or reason to the pictures, just a bunch of cute ones. Lukas was super easy to photographic and Weston was like trying to trap an animal! The ones you see here are pretty much the only good (ok, semi decent) pictures we go of Weston. He's too quick for my slow camera :o)

Lukas loved exploring those pumpkins and feeling the grass on his feet. I know that's a little gross but he liked it! I tried to get him to look up while he was playing with this little pumpkin and he never did. Not once!

Our attempt at a family picture! LOL! I tried like four times and every one is Andy struggling to hold Weston, Lukas not looking, and Andy trying to have a neutral non weird face as he struggles to get them to look at me.

I tried again! Do you see how Weston's foot is up ready to make his escape? This was picture number two....number one was of him trying to steal the pumpkin. That didn't work so he was outta there :o)

Weston in the Giant Shoes. Not too sure why they are there, but they were great for a picture. Weston really enjoyed his first snow cone too...in case you couldn't already tell!
