Bargain discovery

So I have never wanted to bother with the rebate program at rite Aid, because it seemed like a lot of work, but I just discovered how easy it is and how great the deals are. Here is my first week of transactions....

Aveeno Sunblock - 3 cans (2 at 9.99 and 1 at 5.49)
Maybeline Make-up - Eye shadow at 1.54
Mascara at 3.33
Nail Polish at 3.33
Aquafresh Advanced Tooth Paste - 1 at 2.49
Total before coupons = 36.16
Total after coupons = 22.66 (with tax 26.00)

But with these purchases I qualified for the following rebates - Aveeno $5, Johnson and Johnson $10, Aquafresh $2.49, Maybelline $5, plus a gift bag that will have a bunch of samples and coupons in it. So after rebates and coupons, I got all of the above for $3.51 (basically I paid tax on all my free stuff:o) It sounds like a lot of work, but the planning wasn't bad and to enter receipts for the rebates all you have to do is enter the store 3, register 3, date and the computer figures it all out for you. So easy :o) Just make sure you don't hit "request rebate"....Rite Aid only allows one rebate check per month so if you request a rebate at the beginning of the month, you won't get any more for that month. If you have questions, just leave me a comment. I will post this weeks Rite Aid run later tonight or tomorrow :o)
