In case you are wondering where all these Daddy pictures came from all of a sudden, Andy actually took a week off work! One of his best friends from high school was getting married and Andy was in the wedding, so we headed to Andy's moms house for 5 days, then came home and hung out the rest of the week. Andy's job may require him to work a lot, but the benefits are nice! When he finally slows down, we get quite a bit of vacation time =)
One thing about Andy is he LOVES animals. Not in the I want a dog as a pet kinda way, but he's fascinated by nature and habitats...especially lizards and recreating their habitats. He has refrained lately though! No reptiles for over 3 years and only a few crazy plants. Anyway, my point is if there is an option, Andy always votes for the zoo type activities. I was pushing for San Francisco, but the zoo won =)
As usual my kids are incapable of looking at the camera! That's ok, Andy's pretty cute too =)
My guys!
Those things are a lot harder than they look! You have to carry Lukas, who isn't so tiny anymore, plus while Weston is dragging you he is also being mostly supported by you. Yeah, it's a challenge.
Aw, look at the face!
And that face too!
Weston was obsessed with the map. He had no clue how to read it, but he was always studying it and asking me to show him where we were and which way we were going. Cute =)
| Lukas is obsessed with keys lately. He really tries to get them in the keyhole, but this was the first key he could actually get to work on his own. Towards the end of our visit, the key was about a thousand times more exciting to him than the animals ;o) |

| This picture isn't so great, cause it's from Andy's phone. They have this super cool fossil of a GIANT crocodile. It was seriously huge! This picture only shows the head down to the arms. Crazy!!!! |
Again, not the greatest pic, but it was such a cool experience. The otter was swimming laps...he would go to the end, pop up, then dive down and swim right to Weston, then turn around and repeat. Awesome!
That's pretty much the extent of our recent vacation. We seem to find that our boys really just like hanging out with Daddy on their days off. Sure it's fun to go to the zoo, but only if they get to spend the other 2 days playing trains with Andy. Oh well, there is time for big fun vacations later! Tomorrow, we are off to the beach. Maybe I'll get some good pictures...
