Bass Lake with Grandma Sherrie

A few weeks ago, we had to make a trip for a friends wedding.  We stayed with Andy's mom and on our last day there, we all went to Bass lake.  The boys had a blast!!

 

Lukas was immediately in the water.  Again with the opposites...Weston barely went in the water and Lukas needed a chaperone at all times to make sure he wasn't diving in!!

Weston's activity of choice was throwing rocks into the water.  No matter what they were doing, they were in heaven hanging out with Grandma Sherrie.

I think this picture is so cute...I love him just staring out at the lake.  I think he was watching jet skis?

Lukas joined the throwing rocks fun.  He kept throwing the rock about 6 inches in front of him, then walking to get it.  Fun game until he started getting all the way up to his waist =)

 What an awesome Dad!  Andy found this log and brought it over for me to sit on, but first they had to pretend it was a boat.

Andy was trying so hard to build a big "castle" for Weston, but every time he emptied a bucket of sand Weston would step on it.  It was a really funny game for a few minutes =)

Poor Lukas!  Mommy didn't think to pack him any clothes.  oops!  Lucky we are friendly with the owners at the restaurant we went to and they decided the shirt ruled didn't apply to toddlers ;o)
