I was getting ready to post a bunch of deals for the grocery stores this week when I realized that many of these deals rely on having your e-coupons all ready to go. So I thought I would explain those now, and tell you where to sign up. These are for Safeway, and you will need the number on your club card to sign up. If you are like me and lost your card YEARS ago, you can either get a new one at the store, or call the customer service at Safeway to get your number. Trust me...it is worth it!
So first off, e-coupons are coupons on a website that can be added to your club card. When you go to checkout, through the magic of technology these coupons will automatically deduct from your total (when you purchase the correct items of course). The great thing about these is that they will not count as your one manufacturer coupon per item, AND if you have loaded multiple of the same coupon to your card they will (usually) all come off at the same time. Confused? Try looking at it this way.....
Buy 1 Nature Valley Nut clusters - cost $3.00
you have (2) $1 off coupons on your card - $2.00
Use a $1 paper copy manufacturer coupon - $1.oo
When all is said and done, you get them free. Sounds pretty easy right? These coupons are restocked every 2-4 weeks, and as long as you watch the expiration of the oldest one, you should be able to stack up 2-4 of each coupon.
Any questions? =)
